Taproot Space
Taproot is a shared area in the hallway basement of the ARQ barn. It adjoins a shared varnishing/finishing room, with full size garage door access, and is the access point to multiple studios (Black Oak, Mullein, Cattail, and Milkweed). It is often used for large-scale short term projects by current ARQtists, and rented by community friends.
Please reach out if you have a large scale short-term (under 3 months) project you would be interested in utilizing this space for.
Shared bathroom and wifi. There is no direct water access or drain in this area.
17 minute drive from Ithaca.
12 minute drive from Trumansburg.
15 minute drive from Hector/Burdett.
**We are not on or near a bus line, you must have your own vehicle.
RESTRICTIONS - No music/band rehearsal or fire arts permitted in this space so as not to impact other working artists. This area is directly below residential studios, so all working hours are strictly limited to between 9am and 10pm.
