Residential Rooms & Apartments

  • Opening in the summer of 2025 we are offering short term (1 -5 nights) rentals in our converted school bus “The MonARQ”. This space is also available for short term apprentice stays during warm seasons.

Open floor plans with original barn beams and live edge wood trim are the aesthetic in the residential rooms and apartments across the property. Quirky colors and art adorn the walls, and delicious food smells often waft throughout the communal areas.  Each apartment has its own character, and residents over the years have gleaned knowledge & skills from the master tradespeople and craftspeople that is evident in the different spaces.

Our PRIORITY is providing housing to artists/tradespeople that are actively engaged in other areas/studios/collectives on the property. Residents usually stay for 1-5 years, with some tenants living at ARQ as long as 15 years.

Community spaces include the first floor kitchen, outdoor garden plots, the Fruit Orchard, a penthouse laundry facility (complete with a permanent cardboard gargoyle art installation by Nicole Costa), and shared bathrooms.

ARQ is not a cult, nor a commune, but intentionally shares space, utilities, and resources to keep life accessible and affordable for creatives, craftspeople, and artists.

We rarely have residential spaces available.
